Hiking

One weekend we decided we wanted to go hiking. There was a huge boulder and of course, we climbed it. It was a real nice day. 

Road trip

 One day after we were done at the temple, we were trying to figure out what to do for the weekend. One idea that we liked was going on a road trip. So the next day we headed north. We went to the Salt Lake City Cemetery, Temple Square, toured the conference center, my house, a random place with a sphinx with Joseph Smith's head, and Z's house. We made so many memories that day. 

Sledding

These are pictures of one of my favorite adventures, we went sledding. I guess it's not a super big adventure but it was a blast so therefore I count it. We went to Walmart and they didn't have any sleds even though it was winter, go figure. They had some tarps and some garbage can lids. It was definitely redneck but who really cares, we were just having fun. The hill we found was super steep, we all agreed they should have put in a ski lift. The snow was really deep. The tarps sort of worked, we tried to wrap ourselves up like a burrito. R found a broken green sled that someone had just left and by broken I mean there was only one side. It worked the best out of everything we had. We were all beat after we got back but it was worth it.

Pirate Ship

     On our way to our church building there is a house that has a big pirate ship in their backyard. It looked pretty cool and so we walked up to the house and asked the owners if we could go inside. They were more than happy to let us go see it and they invited us to come back whenever we wanted. It's got a captain's quarters and bunk beds in the bottom. She says that they have had many birthday parties and events back there and some college students like to film some of their projects on it. These are pictures from the first time we went but more recently we went and watched a movie in the captain's quarters.

Paint Darts

     This was quite a bit ago, as in last semester, but this is a picture of us right before we played paint darts. We ended it in a paint fight. It was so much fun. We got the idea from the movie "Princess Diaries" when Mia is tired of taking princess lessons and so she and her mom throw darts at balloons filled with paint.
(These days I'm starting to label things as pre-haircut and post-haircut)

Jonas Brother's Picture

So one of our pals Z gave us a Jonas Brother's poster for Christmas and so for his birthday we wanted to give him something special too. So we tried to recreate the picture on the poster and here are some pictures of us goofing off before and after taking the picture. (I will not post the actual one we gave him because it's kind of embarrassing :) ) We had too much fun! This was also back in January so that explains why my hair is still long.
