Happy Valentine's Day

It turned into more of a "Singles Awareness Day" which my friend reminded me that it's acronym is S.A.D. which is kind of depressing but hey, we had fun. K made homemade lasagna and we did a small gift exchange. We went and played Frisbee and football at the park. You can't get much better than being with those you love, even if you are still single. 

Hiking to the "S"

I love this picture too much. B and I had hiking to the "S" on the side of the mountain an item on our bucket list and we fulfilled it. It was kind of steep on the way up but it was fun as R got up to the S first and started yelling to Z some "Remember the Titans" quotes. Like, "What kind of power do you got?!" and Z would yell, "SOUL POWER!" and we would start to run. They conveniently had a bench at the top and you could see the valley below. It was so cool. I think it'd be cool to wake up early one morning and be up there for the sunrise. Such a great view with great people.

New Haircut

The weather is feeling more like spring than winter. I was getting antsy for a new change and this is the result. I got a haircut! My intentions were to donate it because I have done it before and I'm glad to help. I was super grateful as well that they had a sign on the door that said that if there was more than 10", then they would do it for free. They took off 14"! It is weird now to grab hold of my hair and realize, "Wait nope, it's gone!" But it feels real good. 

Christmas Break with Friends

Over Christmas break my roommates and our guy friends wanted to meet up with each other and hang out. So we decided to go to Temple Square and Zoo Lights. Unfortunately, one of our guy friends (R) couldn't make it. We had so much fun and I am thrilled that we got pictures. We also went out to dinner to Cafe Rio. I'm really hoping we started a tradition.

Wow, it really seems like it's been a long time since the last time I posted. I feel like I have posted so much but really, I haven't. I think one reason is because most of the time, if I want to share something, it goes on Facebook first and then I feel like I've already posted.
